Room on the Broom
What a fabulous morning we had creating the most magnificent brooms. Thanks for all the donations. Lots of really amazing ideas. With only 2 hot glue guns there was opportunity to practise being patient. Then some children thought to make wonderful wands. I love glitter so we got some of that out to sparkle them up. Sticking with the theme of alliteration, which is where 2 or more words in a sentence start with the same sound, Charles and Nazareen invented a game where a 'dragon' (me) had to chase children and pretend he was going to eat them along with something their name starts with for tea using the text from the book as a prompt. Eg I am a dragon as mean as can be. I'm having Charles and chips for my tea. If you know the book it will make sense! What a fabulous Friday! What alliteration can you weave into conversations at home?
